مُعَلِّمٌ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ. كَيْفَ الْحَالُ يَا طَالِبُ؟
Peace be upon you. How are you doing, student?
طَالِبٌ
وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّلَامُ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ.
And upon you be peace, praise be to God.
مُعَلِّمٌ
اِقْرَأْ كَلِمَةَ "بَيْت" فِي حَالَاتِ الْإِعْرَابِ الثَّلَاثِ.
Read the word "Bayt" in the three grammatical states.
طَالِبٌ
مَرْفُوعٌ: بَيْتٌ، ومَنْصُوبٌ: بَيْتًا، ومَجْرُورٌ: بَيْتٍ.
Marfoo': Bayt-un. And Mansoob: Bayt-an. And Majroor: Bayt-in.
مُعَلِّمٌ
أَحْسَنْتَ. هَلْ لِكَلِمَةِ "بَيْتًا" أَلِفٌ؟
Well done. Does the word "Bayt-an" have an Alif?
طَالِبٌ
نَعَمْ، لَهَا أَلِفٌ فِي الْمَنْصُوبِ.
Yes, it has an Alif in the Mansoob state.
مُعَلِّمٌ
مُمْتَازٌ. اَلْآنَ، مَا هَذَا؟
Excellent. Now, what is this?
طَالِبٌ
هَذَا كِتَابٌ. اَلْكِتَابُ جَدِيدٌ.
This is a book (un). The book is new (un).
مُعَلِّمٌ
هَلْ كَلِمَةُ "جَدِيدٌ" مَرْفُوعَةٌ؟
Is the word "Jadeed-un" Marfoo'?
طَالِبٌ
نَعَمْ، كَلِمَةُ "جَدِيدٌ" مَرْفُوعَةٌ بِالضَّمَّةِ.
Yes, the word "Jadeed-un" is Marfoo' with a Dammah.
مُعَلِّمٌ
وَمَنْ هَذَا؟ هَلْ هَذَا طَالِبٌ؟
And who is this? Is this a student(un)?
طَالِبٌ
لَا، هَذَا مُعَلِّمٌ. اَلْمُعَلِّمُ وَاقِفٌ.
No, this is a teacher(un). The teacher is standing(un).
مُعَلِّمٌ
أَحْسَنْتَ. اَلْمُبْتَدَأُ (اَلْمُعَلِّمُ) دَائِمًا مَرْفُوعٌ!
Well done. The subject (The teacher) is always Marfoo'!
طَالِبٌ
وَالْخَبَرُ (وَاقِفٌ) دَائِمًا مَرْفُوعٌ.
And the predicate (standing) is always Marfoo'.
مُعَلِّمٌ
صَحِيحٌ يَا طَالِبُ. اَلدَّرْسُ مُفِيدٌ.
Correct student. The lesson is beneficial(un).
طَالِبٌ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ. شُكْرًا يَا مُعَلِّمُ.
