أَحْمَد
هَؤُلَاءِ مُعَلِّمُونَ جَيِّدُونَ.
These are good teachers.
زَيْنَب
وَهَؤُلَاءِ طَالِبَاتٌ. نَحْنُ طَالِبَاتٌ أَيْضًا.
And these are (female) students. We are students too.
أَحْمَد
أَيْنَ الْمُعَلِّمُونَ؟ هُمْ فِي الْفَصْلِ.
Where are the teachers? They are in the classroom.
زَيْنَب
هُنَّ مُسْلِمَاتٌ. وَنَحْنُ مُؤْمِنُونَ.
They (f.) are Muslim women. And we are believers.
أَحْمَد
هَؤُلَاءِ أَوْلَادٌ صِغَارٌ. وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنَاتٌ جَدِيدَاتٌ.
These are small boys. And these are new girls.
زَيْنَب
أَيْنَ هُمْ؟ هُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ.
Where are they (m.)? They are in the mosque.
أَحْمَد
هَؤُلَاءِ مُعَلِّمُونَ. وَنَحْنُ طُلَّابٌ فِي الْمَدْرَسَةِ.
These are teachers. And we are students in the school.
زَيْنَب
هُنَّ طَالِبَاتٌ جَدِيدَاتٌ. وَهُمْ طُلَّابٌ جُدُدٌ.
They (f.) are new students. And they (m.) are new students.
أَحْمَد
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ. هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ فِي الْفَصْلِ.
Praise be to Allah. These and these are in the classroom.
زَيْنَب
هَؤُلَاءِ لِلنَّاسِ (ذَكَرٌ وَأُنْثَى). هُمْ وَهُنَّ وَنَحْنُ ضَمَائِرُ الْجَمْعِ.
هَؤُلَاءِ is for people (male and female). They (m.), they (f.), and we are plural pronouns.
Grammar Note
هَؤُلَاءِ (these), هُمْ (they m.), هُنَّ (they f.), نَحْنُ (we). Plural pronouns agree with plural predicates (ـُونَ، ـَاتٌ).
